International Conference on Economic and Social Studies (ICESoS) is a traditional annual conference that brings together scientific researchers with the aim to discuss a variety of issues related to regional economic development particularly in the context of the Balkan region. In line with this, the conference uses “The Regional Economic Development” as the main theme of ICESoS. In addition to this, the conference has a more specific topic that reflects the focus of the conference in each specific year. This year’s conference focus is “The Digital Economy”. Our current business world is unimaginable without digital computing technologies, the internet, communication technologies, the cloud, and many more examples of digitalization of the analog economy. The Digital Economy has had significant growth in use worldwide, positioning itself among the important factors of economic growth. There many benefits of the Digital Economy as well as many challenges. Thus ICESoS’19 will demonstrate the many practical and theoretical solutions in academia and the market.
